Description
When a worker is injured, supervisors have an important role in supporting the worker while helping the workplace navigate what comes next.
Injury Management & Return to Work is a 30-minute, online, self-paced micro-learning module that builds on the foundation established in LeadSafe: Health & Safety for Supervisors. It gives supervisors practical knowledge and strategies to support injured workers and contribute to safe, timely, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
You’ll learn how to support workers while working with the appropriate workplace resources and keeping communication focused on what the worker can safely do.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
This micro-learning module gives supervisors practical guidance for supporting workers following an injury or illness and throughout the return-to-work process. You’ll learn about:
- The supervisor’s role in injury management, including supporting the worker, communicating appropriately, and working with the right workplace resources.
- Supporting Stay at Work and Return to Work by focusing on the worker’s abilities, suitable duties, and safe participation in the workplace.
- Building a supportive return-to-work experience through timely communication, collaboration, confidentiality, and follow-up.

This module is designed for supervisors and anyone who leads or directs the work of others, including:
- Aspiring supervisors preparing to take on a leadership role
- New and current supervisors looking to build their health and safety knowledge and confidence

Refund Policy: The course is refundable within 15 days of purchase, provided the course has not been started. Once the Status of the course has changed from 'Not Started' to 'In Progress', the course is non-refundable. Refund requests must be received by email at training@go2hr.ca
