LeadSafe is a 90-minute, online, self-paced course designed to give current and aspiring Tourism & Hospitality supervisors the knowledge, practical tools, and confidence to safely lead work every day. Whether you’re new to supervision or looking to strengthen your existing skills, this course will help you understand your health and safety role and put practical leadership approaches into action.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
LeadSafe gives supervisors practical knowledge and tools to confidently support safe work, worker wellbeing, and a positive safety culture. You’ll learn about:
- Your role and responsibilities as a supervisor, including how your everyday actions and decisions influence workplace safety.
- Setting workers up for success through clear expectations, effective training, competency development, communication, and support.
- Leading safe work every day by identifying hazards, managing risk, adapting to changing conditions, and recognizing human factors that can affect safe work.
- Responding to unexpected events, including injuries, incidents, and near misses, while supporting workers and contributing to workplace learning.
- Strengthening safety through leadership by engaging workers, building trust, following up on concerns, and using workplace information to drive continuous improvement.

Refund Policy: The course is refundable within 15 days of purchase, provided the course has not been started. Once the Status of the course has changed from 'Not Started' to 'In Progress', the course is non-refundable. Refund requests must be received by email at training@go2hr.ca
