FOODSAFE Level 1 – Paper-Based Exam (No English Workbook Included)
This version of the FOODSAFE Level 1 paper-based course is available at a reduced price for students whose primary language is not English. It is ideal for those who wish to write the exam in one of the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, French, Japanese, Korean, Punjabi, Spanish, or Tagalog — and do not require the English learning materials.

This option is designed for individuals who already have access to food safety learning materials in their preferred language.
What's Included:
Paper-based exam in your chosen language (Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, French, Japanese, Korean, Punjabi, Spanish, or Tagalog)
Certificate upon successful completion (70% passing grade required)
What’s Not Included:
Printed English learning materials (English Workbook, Activity Book) and USB
How It Works:
- Register and choose your preferred exam language.
- Submit an Invigilator Form — your exam must be supervised.
- Write the 50-question closed-book exam with your invigilator.
- Mail your completed exam to go2HR for marking.
- Upon passing, your FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate will be mailed to you by your local Health Authority within 4–6 weeks.
Please ensure you are comfortable preparing for the exam without the English learning materials (English Workbook, Activity Book and USB) before registering.
REGISTRATION CANCELLATION
If you no longer wish to continue with the FOODSAFE Level 1 Distance Education program, you may request a refund by contacting us at foodsafe@go2hr.ca. Refunds are processed as follows:
- Course materials not sent – eligible for a full refund.
- Course materials sent – eligible for a 50% refund.
- Requests made 2 weeks or more after the registration – not eligible for a refund.
RETURNED ITEMS (Exams or Certificates)
If your package is returned to go2HR due to an incorrect or incomplete address or because it was not picked up by the recipient, we can re-ship it once a verified alternate address is provided. A $25 + tax administrative fee applies for each re-shipment.
