Group pricing benefit: Organizations automatically receive volume-based discounts when purchasing multiple seats. These discounts reflect savings from group shipping and the ability for learners within the same organization to share one FOODSAFE instructional USB. The more seats you purchase, the lower the per-student price.

This paper-based FOODSAFE Level 1 course is designed for Organizations that need to train one or more learners without requiring online access. It is ideal for workplaces with limited computer or internet access, remote locations, or for learners who prefer workbook-based learning. The program includes mailed learning materials and a paper-based exam. Registration is completed after payment and confirmation of learner details by email.

What’s included:
- Organization Course fee: $80 per student (includes the English textbook, activity book, exam fee, and FOODSAFE certificate)
One FOODSAFE instructional video USB (English): $15. A minimum of one USB is required per organization. Learners from the same organization may share one USB). If your organization requires more than one instructional USB, please use the Additional FOODSAFE Instructional USB (English) purchase page.
Shipping fees: Shipping costs vary depending on the size of the group and are already included in the course fee.
5% GST: GST applies to the total price and is calculated at checkout.
Program information
- FOODSAFE Level 1 certificates issued in BC are valid for 5 years.
This course offers exams in 10 languages and is designed to be an accessible option for diverse learners and workplaces across BC.
After you complete your payment
Once you receive the confirmation email that your payment has been processed, please email foodsafe@go2hr.ca with the following information:
Organization name
List of learners (first and last names)
Shipping address for course and exam materials
- Exam language requirements, if applicable (Arabic, Chinese, French, Korean, Punjabi, Farsi, Japanese, Spanish, or Tagalog)
A FOODSAFE Coordinator will contact you within 2 business days to confirm all details and complete the registration process.
REGISTRATION CANCELLATION
If your organization no longer wishes to continue with the FOODSAFE Level 1 Distance Education program, a refund may be requested by contacting foodsafe@go2hr.ca. Refunds are processed as follows:
- Course materials not sent – eligible for a full refund.
- Course materials sent – eligible for a 50% refund.
- Requests made 2 weeks or more after the registration – not eligible for a refund.
RETURNED ITEMS (Learning Materials, Exams, or Certificates)
If your package is returned to go2HR due to an incorrect or incomplete address or because it was not picked up by the recipient, we can re-ship it once a verified alternate address is provided. The original shipping fee will be re-applied for each re-shipment.
